Shenila Khoja-Moolji received her doctorate in Education and additional certification in Feminist Theory from Columbia University in 2016. Her research interests include examining discourses on gender and education, and their entanglement with practices of power
Dr. Jayanti Owens is the Mary Tefft and John Hazen White, Sr. Assistant Professor of International and Public Affairs and Sociology.
Lena’s research and teaching focuses on critical prison studies and prison abolitionism, Black, Indigenous, Chicana & Latina queer and trans feminisms, girls’ and girlhood studies, transformative justice and community accountability, media justice, as well as research justice (i.e. participatory action research).
