Danielle Kloster
Doctoral Student, Natural Resources and Environment

Danielle Kloster is a PhD student and USDA NIFA National Needs Fellow at the University of Connecticut, in the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment. She is interested in the role of values in decision-making about forests, with  her current work focusing on the roadside forest as part of the UConn Stormwise Project.

Danielle has extensive background is in biomass energy from perennial woody crops and the sustainability of those systems. She has a Master’s from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry,where she studied soil erosion from shrub willow cropping systems.
